Payroll Administrator

Main duties in the role:
- Deliver end‑to‑end payroll processing to strict deadlines, including high‑volume routine transactions, adjustments, corrections and special payments.
- Maintain accurate employee data across payroll systems, performing validation checks and quality assurance to ensure error‑free payroll runs.
- Calculate and process statutory elements such as SSP, SMP, SPP, bonuses, annual leave and other payroll‑related deductions.
- Prepare payroll journals, complete monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve payroll variances in collaboration with Finance.
- Handle employee payroll enquiries professionally, maintain confidentiality, and escalate complex issues when required.
- Work collaboratively with HR, Finance and wider teams, supporting compliance, documentation standards and contributing to process improvements.
