The British International School in Cologne is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join its vibrant international community.

The Role
You will teach Physical Education across the secondary age range within a collaborative and supportive department. The school places huge importance on sport, enrichment and extra-curricular activities, with students participating in a wide range of competitive and recreational sports.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages and IGCSE
- Support the continued growth of Sport & Health Science within the IB programme
- Contribute to after-school clubs, fixtures and wider school life

- Promote high standards of teaching, learning and student wellbeing

St. George’s is a well-established British International School based in Cologne, Germany, with approximately 800 students aged 2–18 from both local and international backgrounds.

The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a qualified teacher who:
- Holds a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent)
- Has experience teaching PE within a British or international curriculum
- Is passionate about sport and student development
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is keen to contribute to the wider life of the school
Experience with IGCSE or IB is advantageous but not essential.
