Full-Time, 37.5 Hours

The role

You already have excellent manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation skills, a keen interest in sports injuries and spinal conditions and experience in private practice. With your can-do attitude, passion to learn and flair for collaboration, you’re the ideal person to combine establishing your caseload and working closely with others as part of our innovative team.

Where you’ll be based

Woodland Hospital is one of Northamptonshire's leading private hospitals located in Kettering. Woodland Hospital has 28 single rooms, all with en suite facilities, 10 short stay beds and a surgical extended care unit. The fully equipped theatre suite with ultra clean air technology is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacements, including hip resurfacing and spinal surgery.

Our brand new state-of-the-art day case hospital is located in Glendon, Kettering. This new facility is an extension of the services delivered by the nearby Woodland Hospital.

The hospital has two operating theatres, a purpose built Endoscopy unit, 8 out- patient consultation rooms, a treatment room for minor surgery, out- patients physiotherapy as well as a full imaging unit consisting of MRI & CT scanners, USS, Mammography and X-ray facilities.

What you’ll bring with you

  • Relevant degree in Physiotherapy with relevant MSK experience

  • Current HCPC Registration

  • Current member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

  • Ability to undertake a full Clinical caseload of MSK outpatients including direct referrals and post-op patients with a wide variety of conditions

  • Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office

  • Proficient in running relevant post op and other classes required by your line manager

  • Competent at managing Orthopaedic in-patients and familiar with day-case and enhanced recovery pathways.
