Pipefitter Welder

Ambitek are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Pipefitter / Welder to join our client's growing workshop team based in Chester on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business with consistent work, overtime opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will be working alongside experienced fabricators and welders and should have strong welding, fabrication, and pipefitting experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipefitting, fabrication, and welding duties within the workshop
• TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel
• MIG flux core welding desirable, but not essential
• Stick welding advantageous
• Fabricating components when required
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Working to high quality and safety standards
• Supporting site-based work when required by the business

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pipefitter / Welder
• Strong TIG welding skills on stainless and carbon steel
• Fabrication experience
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Flexible attitude and willingness to work on other sites if needed
• Good work ethic and team player mentality

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 4:00pm
