Repairs Service Planner – 12 Month FTC

🕒 Full Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:30pm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Repairs Service Planner to join a well-established organisation operating within the Social Housing and Property Maintenance sector on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an office-based role within a busy planning and scheduling team, supporting the delivery of responsive repairs and maintenance services across a large housing portfolio.
The Role
You will be responsible for coordinating repairs and maintenance appointments, ensuring operatives are effectively scheduled, and delivering a high standard of customer service to tenants and stakeholders.
Working closely with trade operatives, contractors and internal teams, you will help ensure repairs are completed efficiently, within agreed timescales and to service level targets.
Key Responsibilities

Scheduling repairs and maintenance works for trade operatives and contractors.

Managing and reviewing daily diaries to maximise efficiency and productivity.

Liaising with tenants, operatives and clients regarding appointments and updates.

Monitoring jobs through to completion to support first-time fix targets.

Rescheduling appointments and updating planning systems where required.

Ensuring jobs are completed and closed down correctly.

Supporting KPI performance and service delivery targets.

Working collaboratively within a fast-paced planning and maintenance environment.
Candidate Requirements

Previous planning, scheduling or administrative experience.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Desirable:

Experience within social housing repairs and maintenance.
