Area: Cheam

Salary: £29,500

Role: Planner

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:30

My client is looking for an experienced Planner to work for a Social Housing contractor in Cheam. This role is available ASAP.

Role and Responsibilities

• Planning engineers’ work so everyone knows where they need to be and when
• Taking ownership of engineers’ daily workloads and keeping things moving
• Handling inbound calls from engineers and helping resolve issues quickly
• Making sure engineers are ready for work and dispatching any spare jobs
• Booking and updating customer appointments
• Spotting issues early and helping reduce complaints before they escalate
• Adjusting schedules when there are absences or changes to planned work
• Keeping customers informed with clear, regular updates
• Supporting the wider team and jumping in where needed
• Making sure all daily tasks are completed by the end of the day

Requirements

• Confident communicator, both on the phone and in writing
• Happy to step up and help cover higher-level tasks when needed
• Proactive and organised
• Flexible and able to adapt when plans change
• Trustworthy and comfortable handling confidential information
• Customer-focused and solution-driven
• Able to follow company and client processes
• Strong planning and organisational skills
