A major international manufacturing business is seeking to appoint a Plant Director into one of its key Dublin operations.

This is a significant leadership role within a highly visible, fast-paced manufacturing environment, with responsibility for operational performance, leadership capability, engagement, succession planning and long-term cultural development across a large 24/7 operation.

This is not simply a factory management role focused on output and KPI delivery.

The organisation is specifically looking for a leader who can create clarity, energy and accountability across the operation someone capable of developing strong leadership teams, coaching future talent and creating a culture where operational performance is driven through people, trust and visibility.

The operation itself is well-invested, established and strategically important within the wider group structure. The challenge now is around leadership maturity, operational consistency, engagement and creating a sustainable performance culture capable of supporting future growth.

You will take full site leadership responsibility across:

• Manufacturing Operations
• Engineering
• Supply Chain
• Quality
• Safety
• CI / Operational Excellence
• Customer Service
• Manufacturing support functions

The environment is highly matrixed and commercially driven, requiring someone who can balance strategic leadership with strong operational presence on the factory floor.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Developing leadership capability across the site
• Improving operational reliability and consistency
• Embedding stronger accountability and engagement
• Driving coaching-led leadership behaviours
• Supporting succession planning and future talent development
• Creating alignment across operational and commercial functions
• Building sustainable long-term performance through people

The business is open-minded on sector background.

Experience could come from:

• FMCG
• Aerospace
• Automotive
• Engineering
• Electronics
• Process manufacturing
• High-volume manufacturing environments

More important than sector is leadership style.

They are looking for someone who:

Package:
£120,000 + bonus + benefits package
