Plant Mechanic – Heavy Plant & Recycling Equipment

We have a highly respected Client who are looking for an experienced and highly capable Plant Mechanic to join their team in West London.

This is not an entry-level position. They operate to exceptionally high standards and are looking for someone who takes real pride in their workmanship, is reliable/committed and has the ability to keep critical machinery operating safely and efficiently.

The Role

Duties will include servicing, diagnostics, repairs, fabrication and welding across a varied fleet including:

• Crushers
• Screeners
• Aggregate washing plant
• Excavators from 1T to 50T
• A30 dump trucks
• Dozers
• Loading shovels
• Smaller plant and tools

You must be able to work under your own initiative, troubleshoot faults efficiently, and maintain equipment to a very high standard.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong heavy plant mechanical experience
• Welding and fabrication ability essential
• Experience with quarry, recycling or aggregate equipment highly desirable
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Able to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• High attention to detail and safety standards

Hours

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Saturday: 7:00am – 2:00pm
