We are recruiting for Plasterers to support our Southern Housing contract, working in partnership within the social housing sector across Kent.
In this role, you’ll deliver responsive repairs and plastering works across both occupied and void properties, ensuring residents live in safe, well-maintained homes. This includes carrying out plastering repairs, making good after maintenance works, and delivering high-quality finishes alongside excellent customer service.
The role is based in Sittingbourne, with work covering the wider Kent region.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plastering repairs and full re-skims to a high standard
- Complete patch plastering and making-good works following repairs
- Prepare surfaces including bonding, rendering and finishing
- Undertake minor multi-trade works where required
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Deliver excellent customer service within occupied properties
- Use PDA systems to manage and update jobs
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in domestic plastering and property maintenance
- NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent desirable
- Ability to deliver high-quality finishes in occupied properties
- Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Familiar with PDA usage
- Social housing experience is beneficial but not essential
Additional Requirements
- NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications desirable
- Clean, valid UK driving licence
- DBS check required and will be undertaken as part of the onboarding process
- Eligible to work in the UK (proof required)
