About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join our team working within the social housing sector. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality plastering repairs and maintenance across occupied and void properties, ensuring homes are safe, comfortable, and well-maintained for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all aspects of plastering, including skimming, patch repairs, rendering, and dry lining
- Work on both tenanted and void social housing properties
- Prepare surfaces and ensure a high standard of finish
- Identify and report any additional repair needs
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with tenants
- Complete works within agreed timeframes and standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally within social housing or maintenance
- NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent experience)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
