Plastic HDPE - Pipefitter

Ambitek are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HDPE Pipefitter / Fusion Welder to join an ongoing project in Northwich, supporting the redevelopment of a disused Biomass Plant.

Location: Northwich, Cheshire
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 3-week trial (with potential for 3–6 months ongoing work)

Role Overview

This position will focus on the installation and on-site fusion welding of HDPE pipework, working on straight runs installed mainly on pipe bridges.

Day-to-Day Duties

• Installation of HDPE pipework on site

• Fusion welding HDPE lines ranging from 1” up to 10”

• Working safely and efficiently to site requirements

• Use of HDPE fusion welding machines and associated equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience in HDPE fusion welding (essential)

• Confident using HDPE fusion welding machines

• Valid SCATTS or CSCS or CCNSG or EMSS card (required)

Working Hours

• 07:30 – 16:00

• Some Saturday overtime available
