Are you a qualified Plumber looking for a role where you can take ownership of your work, enjoy genuine autonomy, and become the go-to specialist within a growing organisation?

Do you want to step away from the uncertainty of contracting and join a purpose-driven organisation where your work directly helps create safe, supportive environments for children and young people with Special Educational Needs?

This is a rare opportunity to join a newly formed Multi-Academy Trust that is building its Estates function from the ground up. As part of this investment, they are creating their first dedicated in-house Plumbing position, giving you the opportunity to shape the role and become the Trust's plumbing specialist from day one.

The Trust currently operates three specialist SEN schools across five sites in Maidenhead, Tilehurst and Woodley, supporting children and young people aged 2-19. Their mission is simple: create the best possible environments for students with additional and complex needs to thrive. As the Trust continues to grow, so too will the opportunity and responsibility within this role.

In this position, you'll take ownership of all plumbing and mechanical maintenance across the Trust. From planned maintenance and reactive repairs through to supporting specialist facilities such as hydrotherapy pools and splash pools, you'll play a vital role in keeping the schools operating safely and effectively. You'll also support compliance activities, legionella management, TMVs, water heaters and wider building maintenance projects.

This is not a role where you'll simply be handed jobs each day. You'll be trusted as the plumbing expert, diagnosing issues, identifying improvements and helping shape how plumbing services are delivered across the Trust.

This role would suit a qualified plumber from a commercial maintenance, facilities, healthcare, education or building services background who is looking for long-term stability, excellent benefits and the opportunity to make a genuine difference.

*Understanding of water regulations and legionella compliance
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Comfortable working across multiple sites
*Experience in education, healthcare or facilities environments beneficial
