Plumber Multi Trader – Social Housing – Temp to Perm
£24.00 per hour | 42.5 hours per week
Location: Barnet

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber Multi Trader to work on a social housing contract in Barnet. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offered through an agency, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The role will involve carrying out a mix of plumbing and multi-trade works, with a strong focus on carpentry within occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance in social housing properties
• Complete multi-trade works with a strong emphasis on carpentry
• Tasks may include: door hanging, lock changes, kitchen repairs, and basic joinery
• Diagnose faults and carry out first-time fix repairs where possible
• Work in both occupied and void properties
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes
• Maintain excellent customer service when dealing with tenants
• Follow all health & safety procedures on-site

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumber Multi Trader within social housing
• Strong carpentry/joinery skills (essential)
• Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ or equivalent preferred)
• Experience in reactive repairs and maintenance
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own tools (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
