A local plumbing and heating company covering Dorset is looking for an experienced Supervisor to join the team.
The role involves overseeing a small team of engineers across domestic and commercial plumbing, heating, and maintenance works. The successful candidate will help organise day-to-day jobs, ensure work is completed to a good standard, and maintain good communication with customers and the office.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a small team of engineers on site
- Allocate daily work and assist with job planning
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and the office team
- Order and organise materials and equipment when required
- Monitor progress of jobs and report updates to management
- Carry out quality checks on completed works
- Assist with pricing small works and quotations when needed
- Ensure sites are kept clean and tidy
- Attend occasional site meetings if required
Requirements
- Previous experience in plumbing and heating
- Experience leading or supervising a small team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of health & safety on site
