Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a PMO Business Analyst to support a key Government account.

Job Overview

This role will support the design, development and continuous improvement of PMO processes across a large Government contract. The focus is on strengthening project governance, systems and data management, while simplifying ways of working through automation, integration and the introduction of AI‑enabled solutions.

Working closely with delivery teams and senior stakeholders, the PMO Business Analyst will ensure that Capital Projects and Minor Works (MAC) activities align with the Global Blueprint, the One Way of Working and the 3C’s framework (Capability, Credibility and Cost Leadership). The role plays a key part in improving visibility, consistency and decision‑making across project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and continuously improve PMO processes, governance frameworks and standard operating procedures aligned to global standards.
  • Own and develop Monday . com boards, ensuring effective integration and end‑to‑end visibility across project delivery.
  • Lead data integration, automation and reporting across Excel, Monday . com and other data sources.
  • Develop and maintain management information, dashboards and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support Capital Projects and MAC delivery through best‑practice tools, documentation and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate capital investment planning and support bid submissions, including commercial modelling.
  • Monitor governance compliance, support internal audits and implement improvement actions.
  • Provide training and guidance on PMO processes, systems and tools to delivery teams and new starters.

Person Specification

  • Demonstrable experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally within a PMO environment.
  • Advanced Excel capability, including Power Query and Power BI.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing and improving processes and governance frameworks.
  • Strong experience in process automation to drive efficiency and consistency.
  • Confident working in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment with senior stakeholders.
  • High level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and MS Project.
  • Experience using online tools such as Monday . com and Fast Draft (or equivalent).
  • Educated to HNC or Degree level (or equivalent) in a business or management discipline; technology‑related qualifications beneficial.
