Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Practice Nurse to support a friendly GP surgery in Nelson on an adhoc basis.
Location: Nelson, BB9
System: EMIS
Rate: £30 LTD per hour / £26 PAYE per hour
Working Hours: Ideally 08:00 – 17:00, flexible on start or finish times
Dates Required:
Friday 1st May 8.00am-5.00pm
Friday 8th May 8.00am-5.00pm
Friday 15th May 8.00am-5.00pm
Friday 22nd May 8.00am-5.00pm
Friday 29th May 8.00am-5.00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering patient centred care within organised clinics
- Performing adult and childhood immunisations and cytology, alongside wound care, injections, and routine observations.
- Conducts chronic disease reviews and health checks, providing lifestyle advice where appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate patient records using EMIS
- Liaising with the wider MDT if and when necessary
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- Experience working within Primary Care
- Competent in delivering childhood immunisations
- Experience with EMIS system
