A friendly and welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a reliable and proactive Premises Assistant to join our team on a short-term basis for a few weeks.
This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- General maintenance and basic repairs
- Opening and closing the school site
- Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld
- Assisting with deliveries and setting up rooms for school activities
- Supporting the site manager with ad hoc tasks
- Practical, can-do attitude
- Basic maintenance or caretaking experience preferred
- Good awareness of health and safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate
- Location: Camden
- Duration: A few weeks (temporary cover)
- Hours: Rotating shifts – 7:00am–2:00pm and 12:00pm–7:00pm
- Start Date: Next week
