We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a leading manufacturing business based in Salford Priors, near Evesham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator with experience in sheet metal fabrication and Press Brake machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality folded components to precise specifications while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating Press Brake machinery
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Selecting the correct tooling and machine settings for each job
- Bending and forming sheet metal components to precise tolerances
- Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
- Making adjustments to machine settings as required
- Handling materials safely and efficiently
- Working closely with fabrication, welding, and production teams
- Reporting any machine faults, defects, or quality concerns
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
Requirements
- Previous experience operating Press Brake machinery within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good understanding of measurements, tolerances, and quality standards
- Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, tape measures, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport due to the location
