The Ideal Educator:  

• Qualified primary teacher with recognised teaching certification  

• Early Career or Experienced teacher

• Demonstrates strong knowledge of the National Curriculum 

• Maintains high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour 

• Has an exemplary commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children

• Works collaboratively within a team

Key Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons
• Assess, record, and monitor pupil progress, using assessment information
• Differentiate teaching and learning activities to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND, EAL, and higher-attaining pupils.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
• Contribute to curriculum development and participate in planning activities
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities
