CCS are seeking a dedicated and adaptable KS2/KS3 Teacher to join a specialist SEN school supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS2 and KS3
  • Teach across a range of subjects depending on experience and school need
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students with autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs
  • Create a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies to support engagement and progress
  • Track, assess and report on student progress in line with EHCP targets and individual learning plans
  • Work closely with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams to deliver tailored provision
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews, planning meetings, and wider school initiatives
  • Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and positive wellbeing at all times

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
  • Experience teaching at KS2/KS3
  • Experience working within SEN, autism, or complex needs settings (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
  • Patient, flexible, and committed to inclusive education

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am – 4:00pm
