Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to work 2 days per week within a welcoming and well-regarded primary school based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

This part-time teaching role is due to start in September and will continue through until Easter, offering a fantastic opportunity for a teacher seeking consistent, flexible work within a supportive school environment.

The school has a strong community feel, supportive leadership team, and excellent behaviour standards, making it an ideal setting for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to further develop their classroom experience.

The Role

• Part-time position - 2 days per week (Thurs and Fri)
• September start through until Easter
• Teaching within a supportive primary school
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and pupils

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
