Premier Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the High Peak area seeking an experienced Upper KS2 Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September. This role is working in one of our supply teachers favourite schools.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed teacher who can inspire and challenge pupils in Upper Key Stage 2, helping them to achieve their full potential as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
The Role:
- Teaching within Upper Key Stage 2
- Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and challenging lessons
- Supporting pupils' academic progress and personal development
- Preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage expectations and transition to secondary school
- Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
- Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Upper KS2
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities
- A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
