KS1/KS2 Teacher – Primary School

Salary: £38,627 - £43,545 (M3–M5)
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Start Date: September 2026
Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience.
Are you a passionate Primary Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive primary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1/KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Borehamwood.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented KS1/KS2 Teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and helping every child achieve their full potential. The role can be offered in either KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience and strengths.
The Role
As a KS1/KS2 Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire pupils and promote excellent progress.
• Assess, monitor and track attainment, adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Support pupils with SEND and work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals.
• Contribute to curriculum development, school improvement initiatives and the wider life of the school.
• Lead and develop a curriculum subject area, with support from senior leaders.
We are looking for a Teacher who:
• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has recent primary teaching experience and a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Maintains high expectations for behaviour, achievement and pupil wellbeing.
• Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is committed to inclusive practice and supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Is reflective, collaborative and keen to develop professionally.
