Overveiw:

We are currently recruiting for a committed and adaptable Year 3/4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the S43 area. The school is part of a well-established and supportive multi-academy trust, offering a strong network of professional support and collaboration. This is a full-time, fixed-term role starting on 1st July until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for a mixed Year 3/4 class.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress in line with school expectations.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the values of the trust.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Experience teaching a mixed Year 3/4 class is desirable but not essential.
  • Hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to undergo a DBS check.
  • Good classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to teaching.
