The Role – Primary Teaching Assistant

An excellent primary school in the heart of Southwark is seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a rewarding Primary Teaching Assistant opportunity to make a positive impact on pupils who require additional support to access learning and thrive in the school environment.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils with ASD and behavioural needs, providing tailored 1:1 support as well as assisting within the wider classroom setting. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have at least one year's experience working in a primary school and a strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs. Team Teach training would be a significant advantage.
