About Privacy Culture

Privacy Culture Ltd is a specialist privacy consultancy and SaaS platform business, partnering with leading organisations to embed sustainable privacy practices. We are looking for a Privacy Analyst to join our growing Consulting Services team and support the delivery of privacy programmes across a diverse client portfolio.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of privacy or data protection experience who is looking to develop hands-on experience across a broad range of privacy disciplines from data subject rights management and privacy assessments to DPO support and compliance operations. You will work alongside experienced consultants and managers, contributing directly to client engagements from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Privacy Operations

  • Support the end-to-end management of data subject access requests (DSARs), including logging, triaging, redacting, and drafting responses within statutory timeframes.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs), privacy notices, and data retention schedules.
  • Contribute to the delivery of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and privacy gap assessments.
  • Monitor and respond to client inboxes and data protection queries under the supervision of senior team members.

Client Support

  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for operational client queries, escalating more complex issues to the managing consultant.
  • Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and status updates to a high standard.
  • Support DPO-as-a-Service clients with meeting preparation, action tracking, and documentation.

Research & Knowledge

  • Monitor developments from the ICO, EU supervisory authorities, and other regulators, summarising key updates for the team and clients.
  • Conduct research into emerging privacy topics including AI governance, cookie compliance, and international data transfers.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of internal knowledge resources, templates, and process guides.

Platform & Tooling

  • Support clients in using the Privacy Culture platform, including data entry, configuration assistance, and basic user training.
  • Assist with quality checking outputs generated through the platform and other privacy management tools.

Desired Skillset

Essential

  • 2–3 years of experience working in a data protection or privacy role, with good working knowledge of UK & EU GDPR and associated legislation.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured documents and correspondence.
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A collaborative working style and willingness to support colleagues across a busy consulting environment.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience, ideally in law, information management, business, or a related discipline.

Desirable

  • Experience in a privacy consultancy, law firm, or in-house privacy function.
  • CIPP/E, or active pursuit of a privacy qualification.
  • Experience using privacy management platforms or legal tech tools.
  • An interest in technology, AI, or the intersection of privacy and emerging digital risks.

What We Offer

  • Hybrid working, 2 days per week in our Fleet Street office, with flexibility around project needs.
  • Structured development and a clear pathway to Consultant level and beyond.
  • Hands-on exposure to a wide variety of clients, sectors, and privacy challenges from the outset.
  • Support towards professional privacy qualifications.
  • A collaborative, expert team where you will be coached and supported as you grow.
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus pension and annual leave.
  • Access to Workspace Gym open 24/7 - 7 days a week
