Process Plant Operations Manager | Central Scotland | £75,000 + benefits

A major industrial processing operation in Central Scotland is looking to appoint an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead a large-scale continuous process facility operating within a complex, safety-critical environment.

This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for the overall performance of a technically demanding site, including operational reliability, maintenance coordination, safety, compliance, team leadership and continuous improvement.

The facility operates 24/7 and requires someone comfortable working within a fast-paced industrial environment where strong leadership, engineering understanding and people management are equally important.

The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary operational and maintenance teams while driving performance, operational stability and a positive site culture.

  • Supporting maintenance and outage activities
  • Leading, developing and mentoring operational teams
  • Managing difficult conversations, performance and conflict resolution where required
  • Building a strong operational culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
  • Working closely with engineering, maintenance and site leadership teams

  • Engineering or technical operational understanding
