Process Safety Engineer - Pharma

PM Group are currently engaged with a Global CDMO who are starting the development of a new manufacturing facility based in Northumberland. The EHS Department is looking to hire an experienced Process Safety Engineer to join the team.

The successful candidate will enjoy working on large-scale pharmaceutical projects. 

To be successful in this role, experience in the following is required:

• Process Safety Calculations 
• Process Hazard Analysis: HAZID, Hazard and Operability (HAZOP), LOPA reviews
• Seveso III/Safety Report Preparation
• Health and Safety Services, Safety Management Systems, OHSAS 18001, Risk Assessments
• Toxic Dispersion/Fire/Explosion Modelling
• Audit Experience
• Chemical Reaction Hazards Evaluation

We would be interested in hearing from candidates who have the following experience:

• Degree qualification in Process/Chemical engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience in process design and/or plant operations
• Excellent awareness of process safety engineering and process safety management
• Experience in ATEX/DSEAR
