Procurement Advisor

Senior Buyer
Location: Doncaster (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: Up to £40,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a growing and forward-thinking business in Doncaster as they look to recruit an experienced Senior Buyer to join their procurement team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded procurement professional to take ownership of supplier relationships, drive cost-saving initiatives, and play a key role in supporting operational performance within a dynamic business environment.

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities across assigned categories
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any supply chain issues proactively
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across operations, production, and finance
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement projects
• Analyse purchasing data and market trends to support decision-making

• Previous experience in a Senior Buyer or Buyer role within manufacturing, engineering, or a fast-paced commercial environment
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience managing procurement projects and driving efficiencies
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
• CIPS qualification or working towards this would be advantageous
