Procurement Manager

We are looking to recruit a Procurement Manager for a client within the financial services industry involves overseeing procurement activities and managing category strategies to ensure cost efficiency and value delivery. Based near Nottingham, this temporary position requires a skilled professional to lead procurement initiatives effectively.

The company operates as a mid-sized business with a strong emphasis on delivering excellent services and maintaining robust operational processes and are now looking for a Procurement Manager to join their growing Procurement team on a FTC basis due to an exciting period of growth.

Description

As Interim Procurement Manager, duties will include, however, not be limited to:

• Develop and implement category strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Manage procurement activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement processes accordingly.
• Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Prepare and present reports on procurement activities to senior management.

Profile

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

• Proven experience in procurement and category management.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to start Immediately.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
