The Role
As Procurement Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering compliant, high-quality procurement solutions, working closely with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders across the social housing landscape.
You’ll manage framework contracts, support end-to-end procurement activity, and play a key role in driving best practice, performance, and innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing relationships with clients and suppliers
- Delivering compliant procurement exercises and framework call-offs
- Supporting the full procurement lifecycle – from tender documentation through to contract management
- Monitoring and analysing performance data to ensure high standards are met
- Keeping up to date with procurement legislation and best practice
- Supporting the development and use of systems (e.g. CRM) to enhance delivery
- Representing the organisation at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings
About You
You’ll be a confident and commercially astute procurement professional with strong experience within social housing or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and compliance
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
- A collaborative and proactive approach
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Desirable:
- CIPS / MCIPS / MRICS (or working towards)
