I'd love to hear from anyone with experience as a Procurement Officer or Specialist, Commercial Officer, Contract Manager, Purchasing Specialist or Supplier Relationship Manager, who is looking for a varied and rewarding role.
 
In this position, you will be:
  • Managing tender processes from start to finish, including complex and high-value projects
  • Providing advice and support on purchasing, supplier management and compliance requirements
  • Preparing tender documents, assessing bids and supporting contract awards
  • Working with teams across the organisation to develop cost-effective commercial solutions
  • Identifying risks and opportunities to improve services and deliver value for money
 
I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management within a local authority or public sector organisation
  • Knowledge of tendering processes and commercial practices
  • The ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
  • A practical and proactive approach to solving problems
  • A Degree level qualification and Level 3 CIPS Diploma
