Production Coordinator

Market36 are currently looking for a Production Coordinator on behalf of their client based in Braintree, on a full-time and permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing specialist manufacturer within the architectural aluminium industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both the production and technical teams, ensuring materials are accurately scheduled, ordered, and delivered in line with project and manufacturing requirements. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Produce material take-offs and schedules using Logikal software.
• Place orders for materials and liaise with system suppliers.
• Monitor supplier lead times and ensure materials are delivered in line with project programmes.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials.
• Support the production team to ensure projects progress efficiently.
• Assist with technical design and detailing activities.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, schedules, and project requirements.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production and procurement functions.
• Assist with project coordination activities as required.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical knowledge and industry expertise.
• Provide general administrative support to the production and technical teams where necessary.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience within the façade, glazing, aluminium systems, manufacturing, construction, or related industries is advantageous.
• Previous experience in material ordering, procurement, production planning, scheduling, or estimating would be beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
• AutoCAD experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
• Experience using Logikal software would be highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Kawneer, Schueco, or Metal Technology systems would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Hours: Mon to Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Salary: £26,500-£34,000 (DOE)
