Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to bring in a hands-on Production Lead to support their shop floor operations and drive performance across their assembly department.

This is a role for someone who leads from the front – you’ll be just as comfortable setting and running machines as you are supporting and developing a team.

Key responsibilities of the Production Lead include:

• Lead a team of operatives within the assembly department 
• Supporting with problem-solving and troubleshooting on the shop floor
• Driving continuous improvement and efficiency
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and health & safety
• Assisting with training and development of team members
• Working closely with production and engineering teams

We’re looking for Production Leaders with the below skills & experience:

• Proven experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
