Working Hours & Benefits
Monday–Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 1:30pm

As a Production Manager, you will take full accountability for delivering production performance across your area, ensuring targets relating to output, quality, cost and delivery are consistently achieved.
This is a pivotal leadership role within the operation, requiring a strong focus on continuous improvement, people development and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting new product introduction (NPI), and embedding a high-performance culture aligned to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of production targets, ensuring alignment with customer schedules and quality standards
- Drive achievement of KPIs across safety, quality, cost and delivery on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Analyse production data and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Supervisors to build a high-performing, flexible workforce
- Establish and review manning requirements in line with production plans and training matrices
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring process effectiveness and compliance
- Promote and embed Lean manufacturing principles, including TPM, 5S and waste reduction initiatives
- Manage departmental budgets, including overtime control in line with business objectives
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and IATF standards
- Drive effective cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, HR, Finance and Supply Chain
- Manage employee relations matters, including performance, conduct and engagement
- Ensure robust communication across teams to enhance engagement and operational performance
- Proven experience in a Production Manager or senior manufacturing leadership role
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) within a relevant discipline
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
- Experience of Lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and regulatory compliance within manufacturing
