Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing environment. This role involves operating production equipment, carrying out assembly tasks, and ensuring products meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

• Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Assemble parts, components, and materials following work instructions and quality standards.
• Carry out quality checks including visual inspections, testing, and measurements where required.
• Pack finished products, label goods, and prepare items for dispatch or storage.
• Support stock control activities including picking, replenishment, and inventory tracking.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to support smooth production operations.
• Report any faults, issues, or production concerns promptly.
• Assist with assembly, picking, packing, and general production duties as required.

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, picking, packing, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Forklift truck licence advantageous but not essential.
• Basic Health & Safety awareness.
• Good computer and keyboard skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Reliable, organised, and proactive attitude.
• Willingness to work additional hours when required.
