Job Title: Milk Processor / Dairy Production Operative
Shift: 5:00am – approx. 3:00pm (6 days per week, Sunday off)
Location: Blackburn (BB1 area)
Pay: £15 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Milk Processor to join our dairy production team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced food production environment, ensuring milk processing is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring milk processing equipment
- Working with a plate heat exchanger for pasteurisation and cooling processes
- Carrying out CIP (Clean-In-Place) procedures correctly and safely
- Ensuring hygiene and food safety standards are met at all times
- Monitoring production flow and reporting any issues
- Maintaining cleanliness of all processing areas
Requirements
- Experience in food production or dairy processing preferred
- Knowledge of plate heat exchangers and CIP systems is essential
- Food hygiene / food safety qualification (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work early shifts and long production hours
- Reliable and punctual
