Workshop Manufacturing Assistant – Temp to Perm

We are recruiting for a Workshop Manufacturing Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced production environment. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering full training and support through a structured program to help new starters learn every stage of the production process and settle into their role quickly.

• Location: Dereham

• Hours: 06:30 – 16:30, Monday to Friday

• Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

• Contract: Temp to Perm

You’ll be part of a skilled production team working on the door manufacturing line. The role involves assembling, wrapping, and preparing products for further processing. Teamwork, attention to detail, and reliability are essential, as the production line relies on efficiency similar to a pit crew — everyone plays a key role in delivering high-quality results.

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely.

• Follow training plans and production workflows.

• Work to targets and deadlines while maintaining high standards.

• Assist in various production areas as required after training.

• Carry out quality checks and follow company procedures.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to work under time pressure.

• Competent with measuring tools (tape measure, calliper).

• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.

• Reliable and committed to long-term work.

• Previous production experience is desirable but full training will be provided
