Salary: £30,000 - £36,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Worksop who are looking to recruit a Production Planner to join their operations team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently, on time, and in line with customer demand.

The Role:
As Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, balancing capacity with demand, and ensuring materials and resources are in place to meet operational targets. You will act as a vital link between production, procurement, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage daily and weekly production plans
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability
• Liaise with production teams to ensure schedules are achievable and adhered to
• Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or delays
• Analyse production data to improve planning efficiency and performance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operation

The Candidate:

• Previous experience in a production planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Proficient in planning systems/ERP software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
