Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a growing West Yorkshire manufacturer to recruit a Production Planner at their Halifax site.

The Opportunity

What the Role Involves

Reporting into an experienced planning team, you'll play a key part in keeping production schedules on track and customer orders moving. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and maintaining production schedules in line with customer demand
  • Coordinating with purchasing to ensure materials are available when needed
  • Working alongside manufacturing teams to identify and resolve scheduling issues
  • Updating and maintaining accurate planning data across internal systems
  • Producing reports to support operational decision-making
  • Contributing to continuous improvement activity within the planning function

What Elevation Are Looking for on Behalf of Our Client

  • Educated to A-Level, HNC/HND, or degree level in a relevant discipline — Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Operations
  • Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Confident with data and comfortable working in Excel
  • A clear communicator who works well across teams
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and genuinely motivated to build a career in planning
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or production environment is advantageous but not a requirement
