About the Role
Wolviston Management Services are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in the recruitment of a Production Lead to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, varied production environment, where multiple products are manufactured across different bays. You'll play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing and packaging operations
- Supervise a team of 8-12 operatives across multiple production bays
- Drive performance to meet production targets and customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards (GMP)
- Monitor and maintain product quality in line with specifications
- Support, coach and develop team members
- Ensure staff are trained and fully competent in their roles
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and site cleanliness
- Support with product handling and mixing (5kg-25kg)
- Experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
- Strong communication and team management skills
- IT literacy (Outlook, Excel, and internal systems)
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable mindset
- Understanding of SOPs and compliance standards
- Day shift: Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:30)
- Overtime opportunities available
- 1 in 5 Saturdays once fully trained
