Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Halifax
Salary: £13 to £14 per hour (Dependent on Experience)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
• Friday: 07:00 – 12:30

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a hands-on Production Technician to join our team in Halifax. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong practical skills and a good eye for detail to work in a friendly, fast-paced production environment. This is a temporary-to-permanent role with long-term potential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform soldering tasks with precision and care
• Crimp and strip wires to required specifications
• Accurately read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
• Use a variety of hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Follow technical instructions and assembly procedures
• Work as part of a collaborative production team
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Input data and navigate systems with a good level of IT literacy

Requirements:

• Previous experience in soldering and wire assembly
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic production equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic IT skills for data entry or system use
• A team player with a positive and proactive attitude

Desirable (Not Essential):

• GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent qualifications
