As a Production Technician – Mechanical, you will play a key role in the assembly, build, testing, and mechanical integration of complex high-tech systems within a precision-focused manufacturing environment, working a rotating shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical assembly and build of advanced equipment and sub-assemblies
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Mechanical fitting, assembly, and integration of precision components
• Supporting testing and fault diagnosis activities when required
• Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and productivity
• Working closely with engineering and production teams to achieve build targets
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, production, or manufacturing environments
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering documentation
• Hands-on experience with precision mechanical assembly or electro-mechanical systems desirable
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
• Good practical problem-solving skills and a positive team attitude
• Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern
• Relevant mechanical qualification advantageous (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
