We are currently recruiting for an experienced Profile Burner to join a busy and well-established site in Birtley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled candidate looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Profile cutting of steel plate to specification

• Working from technical drawings

• Operating profile burning equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy

Requirements:

• Proven experience in profile cutting of steel plate (essential)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good understanding of health & safety procedures

Desirable:

• Valid Forklift Truck Licence

• Overhead Crane licence

This role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis and offers competitive hourly pay at £15.22 per hour. Dayshift is standard, however there is flexibility to accommodate candidates who prefer nightshift. Nightshift comes with a £20 per shift uplift.
