Project Accountant

Morson Talent are currently seeking a Project Accountant for our aerospace client based in Semley, Wiltishire.

The role will include the duties along with other duties required by the business:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and financial plans
• Monitor project costs and track performance against budget
• Analyse variances and provide clear explanations
• Produce regular financial reports on project status
• Support project billing and invoicing
• Assist with month end and year end closing related to projects
• Identify financial risks
• Track costs and compare against budget

Skills and experience required:

• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with budgeting, cost control and forecasting
• Proficient with Excel and Financial systems
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects

6 month contract initially

40 hours per week
