We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a well-established and growing business based in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive finance team, where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Managing supplier statement reconciliations
- Assisting with payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control and chasing outstanding payments
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Handling finance-related queries from suppliers, customers, and colleagues
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
- Previous experience within a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
- A positive, team-focused attitude
