This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business operating at the forefront of the renewable energy sector. Based from their Leeds head office, the company delivers bespoke home energy optimisation solutions, combining solar, battery storage and smart technology systems tailored to individual customer needs.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a highly organised and commercially aware Project Coordinator to oversee residential solar installation projects from post-sale through to completion and customer handover.
- This is a hands-on, fast-moving coordination role where no two days are the same. You will act as the central point of contact between customers, installers, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
- You will be managing approximately 7–12 residential installation projects per week and will take ownership of scheduling, communication, issue resolution and operational coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate residential solar and battery installation projects from sale through to completion
- Manage installation schedules, deliveries, scaffolding and installer availability
- Ensure projects remain on track against turnaround targets
- Liaise with customers throughout the installation process, managing expectations and providing regular updates
- Handle customer queries, complaints and escalations professional
- Coordinate directly with installers, subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor installation quality and assist with snagging resolution
- Support operational efficiency and scheduling performance
- Maintain accurate CRM records and project documentation
- Assist with wider operational support during quieter periods
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Project coordination, scheduling, operations or customer project management
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and changing schedules
- Confident using CRM systems and scheduling software
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
- Experience within any of the following sectors would be advantageous:
- Renewable energy / solar
- Construction
- Utilities
- Engineering
- Facilities management
- Logistics or scheduling environments
