PROJECT COORDINATORAbout the Role – Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Project Coordinator to join an established projects team within a specialist engineering and manufacturing environment.

This is a key position supporting the delivery of customer projects from order through to completion, ensuring documentation, communication, and timelines are accurately managed across internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a central role in maintaining project visibility, supporting design and production workflows, and ensuring contractual commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities – Project Coordinator
  • Review information received from the sales team and support the CAD design function in translating this into manufacturing drawings and production schedules
  • Maintain and update project timelines, issuing updates to customers in line with agreed contractual requirements
  • Ensure all project documentation (drawings, specifications, communications) is accurate, current, and distributed to the correct departments
  • Manage and update customer information across online portals and cloud-based systems (e.g. 4Projects, Oracle Aconex and similar platforms)
  • Attend customer and project meetings, providing updates on progress and capturing clear actions for internal follow-up
  • Distribute and track meeting actions across relevant internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion
  • Liaise with suppliers and the wider supply chain to ensure key deliverables and commitments are met
  • Produce and maintain accurate internal and external project reporting
  • Support accounts-related queries by liaising with customers and internal finance teams to resolve issues affecting payment
  • Prioritise workload effectively in line with project demands and business requirements
Skills & Experience Required
  • Strong communication skills – confident on the phone, in meetings, and via email
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in written and numerical work
  • Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
  • Previous experience in engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments is highly advantageous
  • Comfortable working with structured processes, documentation, and project timelines
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Training Provided

Full training will be provided across key systems and processes, including:

  • MRP system (in-house training)
  • Scheduling and works instructions
  • Group reporting tools
  • Online customer portals and web-based systems
  • Product and technical knowledge (in-house)
