Supporting a Project Manager, you will take ownership of all technical and engineering aspects of your assigned projects from conception to completion. You will be the technical anchor-planning, scheduling, and managing tasks to ensure accuracy, safety, and top-tier quality.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
- Assign responsibilities and support the project team
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
- Collaborating with stakeholders about their needs and goals for the project
- A degree, HNC, or HND in an engineering discipline.
- Chartered or working towards Chartership (CEng).
- Proven working experience as a Project Engineer.
- Experience in a water distribution or similar industrial background.
- A strong understanding of CDM 2015 and how it's applied to projects.
- A strong understanding of the various NEC contracts and their application.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A valid UK driving licence.

Compensation package:
Up to £61,000 p.a. dependent on experience
