Project Manager

Senior Project Manager (Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering) to join a leading engineering and building services contractor delivering major construction projects across the UK.

This role is ideal for a commercially focused and proactive project leader (Mechanical / Electrical Project Manager) with a strong background in delivering large-scale MEP/building services projects within complex construction environments. You’ll take ownership of high-value projects worth up to £20m, leading delivery from pre-construction through to completion while ensuring exceptional standards across safety, quality, programme and client satisfaction.

The Role

• As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Leading the safe and successful delivery of major MEP/building services projects
• Managing projects from bid stage through to final handover
• Driving commercial performance, programme delivery and operational excellence
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
• Leading multidisciplinary teams and promoting a high-performance culture
• Managing project risk, forecasting, reporting and financial performance
• Supporting pre-construction activities and future business opportunities
• Ensuring Health & Safety, compliance and quality standards are maintained throughout delivery
• Overseeing project close-out and ensuring successful client outcomes

About You

• Proven experience delivering large-scale MEP/building services projects
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent commercial awareness and project financial management experience
• Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Experience managing project programmes, risk and reporting processes
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety and operational best practice
• Relevant industry qualifications or professional accreditations
